AI and Me

Thinking, choosing, and being human in a world of AI.

Promise

Students leave able to say what they will use AI for, and what they refuse to hand over.

The problem

Students are already using AI, in nearly every assignment they touch. What most have not been asked is harder: who is shaping their thinking, what they can trust, and what makes their own work theirs. Rules about AI use tell them what not to do. They rarely help them decide.

How it supports counselors

Counselors are fielding a new question alongside the old ones: whose voice is in this essay?

AI and Me gives students a way to think about that question before it becomes a problem. They practice checking what AI tells them, noticing how digital systems shape their choices, and naming the values that guide their own use. The result is a student who can talk about AI with judgment, not just compliance.
